WHAT CAN THE MANDOLINE SLICER DO?

The mandoline slicer is equipped with 2 removable slicer blades (Straight Slicer blade, and Wavy Slicer blade), 3 built-in Julienne blade modes (for 3mm-wide, 6mm-wide, and 12mm-wide cuts), and adjustable cutting thickness levels (from 1mm to 7mm) to make slices, chips/fries, strips/juliennes, and wavy chips, from your vegetables and fruits.

The mandoline slicer can perform 4 cutting functions, as follows:

HOW TO CHANGE BLADES

The mandoline slicer comes with 2 removable slicer blades, namely a Straight Slicer blade, and a Wavy Slicer blade. To change from one slicer blade to the other, do the following:

HOW TO STORE

  • Fold the feet by pushing them all the way toward the mandoline slicer’s body.
  • Put the blade inserts inside the blade storage caddy for safe & compact storage when not in use.

The mandoline slicer, when stored, should look like below.

SUGGESTED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

The mandoline slicer works best with firm vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, turnips, rutabagas, zucchini, large radishes, squash, beetroots, apples, pears, among others. Experiment and have fun!

HOW TO CLEAN

  • Wash and dry immediately after use to avoid staining.
  • Do not use corrosive cleaning products or excessive amounts of detergents.
  • Use baking soda to remove stains, if there’s any.
  • If necessary, open the julienne blades’ cover and use a brush to clean them.
  • Remove the inserted blade from the mandoline slicer before washing to clean any accumulated juice or food remnants among the gap of the blade & the mandoline slicer.
  • Dishwasher safe (top rack only). Make sure the dishwasher’s temperature is under 150°F (65°C), and place the parts as far from the heating element as possible to prevent warping.

TYPES OF DISHES THAT CAN BE MADE

You can use the mandoline slicer to quickly make consistent and uniform dice from your favorite vegetables/fruits for salads, stir fries, soups, crudities, ragout, stews, desserts and more. CAUTIONS

  • This product contains very sharp blades. Use care when operating and washing it to avoid injuries. Not for use by children.
  • Use, wash and store with care.
  • Keep away from high heat. Do not heat or microwave the device.
